We understand endorsements to be the institutional support by an organization or entity of the Sol-UN Project and its role.  Endorsements strengthen the moral force of project outcomes and may enhance funding possibilities to produce future outcomes.

We would like to warmly thank our contributing sponsors, logistical supporters and endorsers for their support of the Sol-UN project.  Without them, we would not have been able to fulfill a needed role in the context of international meetings advancing cutting-edge issues on traditional cultures and indigenous peoples' rights.

To sponsor a reporting cycle, research, publications, translation of existing Bulletins, or expansions of this Project:

  • Project proposals and budgets for each meeting are available upon request for funding consideration. Please contact the Project Coordinator.

  • Project proposals may likewise be prepared on:

    • research and analysis of key topics or processes covered;

    • preparation of publications on key issues within the processes;

    • thematic briefs;

    • official background documents to submit to the UN for consideration at future meetings;

    • retroactive reporting on past meetings and processes based on official UN records;

    • the translation of published bulletins or other outcomes; and

    • other ways of extending the services provided by the Sol-UN Project.


  • Funders will receive the project outcomes at the end of each reporting cycle and a financial report upon request.

  • Joint funding and matching funds are welcome.

  • Acknowledgements of project donors, technical collaborators and endorsements will be made in the publication of each Bulletin or project outputs, and on the Sol-UN website, unless otherwise requested.
